What I Learned

What I Learned

This week I watched a video on YouTube on how to learn braille. I learned a lot about braille and how it is actually easier to learn than I thought it would be.

Braille is a series of dots that are easy to remember. I learned a little song that helped me remember how the dots go. It went 'You approach a bridge but it's closed so you take the detour but realize you are on empty, so you fill up with fuel but now you are in grid lock, so you trade  your car for a Harley turn the ignition on and jump.' Each word starts with a letter from the alphabet and goes the Braille alphabet. I learned that Louis Braille, the man who created the Braille code, didn't originally add the letter W because French people don't use the letter W, but it was later added. I also learned that the first ten numbers are the sane as the first ten letters, you just put a different symbol in front of it. I could go on for days telling you what I learned about Braille but I am going to stop here.

I have learned that it was hard to find time do this project and that I was a little in over my head with this. If I could go back in time I would change my driving question. I have learned that I should do something I like and not just whatever can to mind first.
